Effective date: September 18, 2026
This policy covers the Brain Master app (called “Hafıza Tutucum” in Turkish) on iPhone and on Android. The two versions handle data differently, so each has its own section below.
iPhone (iOS): no ads, no account or sign-in, no tracking — we collect no data ourselves. Your notes, reminders and images stay on your device. The only data that leaves it is anonymous technical diagnostics from Google ML Kit when you use image-to-text (see below).
Android: your notes stay on your device by default. To stay free, the Android app shows ads from Google AdMob, and it offers an optional Google sign-in to back up to your own Google Drive.
We collect nothing ourselves. Your notes, reminders and images never leave your device; they are not sent to any server or stored on the internet. The iOS app contains no advertising and no tracking, and it has no account or sign-in.
Google ML Kit diagnostics: image-to-text (OCR) uses Google ML Kit, which runs on your device. When you use it, ML Kit sends Google anonymous technical diagnostics: device model, iOS and app version, performance metrics (such as processing time), error codes and a per-installation identifier that isn’t tied to you. Your images, their text and your notes are never sent. This data is not linked to you and is not used for tracking or advertising. See Google’s ML Kit data disclosure.
All AI features — semantic search, the “Ask your notes” chat, summarization and image-to-text (OCR) — run on your device. Your notes are never sent anywhere for these operations.
The AI models are downloaded once, when you turn on an AI feature, from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), a public model host. The download request contains nothing about you or your notes; after that the AI works offline.
We do not share or sell anything — we don’t have access to your notes or data in the first place.
With “Export backup” (Settings → Backup), your data is written to a file you choose, for example in Files or iCloud Drive. You alone decide where to save or send it; the file is not accessible to us. Deleting the app deletes all of its data from your device.
The iOS app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Unless you turn on cloud backup yourself, your notes, reminders and images never leave your device; they are not sent to any server or stored on the internet. If you turn on cloud backup, a copy is written only to your own Google Drive (see “Account & backup” below).
The exception for ads: to show, measure and protect ads from abuse, Google AdMob may process your device’s advertising ID and standard ad data (e.g. approximate location/country, device type, ad interactions). The content of your notes is never shared with ad providers.

The Android app shows banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use identifiers such as the advertising ID to serve, personalize and protect ads against fraud. In regions such as the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent at app launch before personalized ads are shown (Google’s consent screen). You can manage ad personalization at any time in your phone’s settings — reset your advertising ID or turn off personalization. See how Google uses ad data here.
We do not share or sell your notes and content to anyone — we don’t have access to them in the first place. Only for showing ads, the ad data described above is processed by Google AdMob.
With “Export backup”, your data is written to a file you choose; you alone decide where to save or send it, and the file is not accessible to us.
If you choose, you can sign in with Google and turn on cloud backup. In that case your Google name and email address are used in the app to identify your account, and your notes, reminders and images are written only to a private app folder (appDataFolder) in your own Google Drive. Only you and this app can access that folder; nothing is sent to our servers and we have no access to your data.
Signing in and cloud backup are entirely optional. You can sign out, stop backing up or delete your Drive backup at any time from Settings. Deletion steps (Turkish): Account and data deletion.
Because the Android app shows ads and processes an advertising ID, it is primarily intended for users aged 13 and older.
If this policy changes, we publish the current version in the app and on this page.
